Holy Days of Obligation

Holy Days of Obligation are special feasts on which we as Catholics are seriously obliged, as on Sundays, to attend Mass and to avoid unnecessary work. When a Holy Day falls on a Saturday or Monday, the obligation to attend Mass is abrogated. However, it is a good practice to attend Mass nonetheless.
